The Uterus Shirt launched Uterish in 2016, when we designed it and sold it lemonade-stand style in the hallways of our high school. Depicting a uterus surrounded by foliage and reading “not a political object” underneath, the Uterus Shirt represents our belief that a uterus should be treated just for what it is: an organ, not a signal of gender, and not a political pawn.
