Two years ago, our intern Willow pitched us an idea: a sticker set focusing on themes of sexual freedom and resisting purity culture. This sticker set is the result of all of her hard work. In Willow’s own words, “Western society fails to see women and vulva owners as having their own sexuality, and therefore shames them for wanting sex, having sex, or seeking out any sort of pleasure.” Read more about Willow’s process designing the sticker set here!

Willow described each of her stickers:

Sticker 1: “Womanhood”

The “Womanhood” sticker highlights gendered stigma surrounding sex. The design goes against purity culture values by portraying a woman experiencing sexual freedom.

Sticker 2: “Anatomy is Autonomy”

The “Anatomy is Autonomy” sticker illuminates the lack of education about the vulva as a result of gendered stigma surrounding pleasure. The design portrays one understanding their anatomy, and in doing so, gaining autonomy over their sexuality.

Sticker 3: “Sexual Freedom is my Human Right”

The “Sexual Freedom is my Human Right” sticker covers gendered and anatomical barriers that suppress human rights, advocating for sexual freedom for all.
